The hotel was in a good and easy location, to Tybee island for a triathlon. Besides, it was near statesboro from atlanta, the Mexican restaurant rather than the Steak House deal across the road, and the local convenient store.

The King Room had a comfortable bed and was tidy enough for a budget stay. Soft, fluffy towels made showering more pleasant, although I encountered a cockroach on the shower curtain, quite off-putting. Breakfast choices were quite basic, just two sausage biscuits and some yogurt. The room decor felt dated, showing signs of wear, and the electrical outlets needed maintenance as some were loose. Staff at the front desk could be more accommodating. When I asked for a late check-out due to a flat tire, their response was curt and unhelpful. Some things worked well while others clearly need attention.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the helpful staff who efficiently checked me in. The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was immaculate. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of being close to the interstate, great for easy access during my travels.

I enjoyed that I was only a few steps from Guido Gardens, made for a lovely afternoon stroll surrounded by beautiful landscaping, and it was great having a variety of dining options like Waffle House so close for breakfast after my morning walks.

The hotel is a short drive from Willow Lakes Golf Course, a perfect outing for my family. The breakfast was decent, and the kids enjoyed the variety. It was nice having some restaurants nearby for our meals.
My kids wished for a better cleaning service.
